House District 25: Randy Denton

A resident of DeSoto County for nearly 50 years, Randy Denton graduated from Horn Lake High School and studied business administration and machine shop technology at Northwest Mississippi Community College. He retired from FedEx Express with 20 years of experience, most of that time in logistics, procurement, distribution and project management. Since 2004, Denton has been the owner and executive director of Art to Grow On, LLC, a franchise of KidzArt, a creative arts program for children. He is also president of Blythe Corporation and a partner in Blythe Family Limited Partnership, ventures which include farm land management and conservation in northwest DeSoto County

A Christian with strong moral values, Denton is an elder for the Goodman Oaks Church of Christ in Southaven. He has served on the Board of Directors for Sunnybrook Children’s Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi, and the advisory council for Children’s Home Inc. in Paragould, Arkansas.

He and his wife of 44 years, Alice Blythe Denton, have two grown children, Jamie Branning and Robert Denton Jr., and six grandchildren.
