ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

A native of Holly Springs, Representative John Faulkner is a graduate of Holly Springs High School and attended the Army School of Nursing in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Army for 13 years, receiving the Army Achievement Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal and the Expert Field Medical Badge. A business owner and youth counselor, Faulkner has served in the Mississippi House of Representatives since 2013 and is a member of the following committees: Military Affairs, Transportation, Universities and Colleges, and Youth and Family Affairs.

Faulkner is a member of several civic and community organizations including Crime Stoppers of Marshall County, the Marshall County Industrial Development Authority, the Holly Springs Rotary and the Prince Hall Masons.
