House District 105: Dale Goodin

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

A veteran, educator and native of Perry County, Lieutenant Colonel Dale Goodin is a graduate of New Augusta High School. He earned an Associate of Applied Science in business administration from Mercer County Community College, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University and a Master of Science in educational leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi. Goodin spent nearly 40 years serving his country in the U.S. Navy, the Mississippi Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve.

With 30 years of experience in education, Goodin is currently the director of the Perry County Vocational Technical Center, where he was recently recognized as the Administrator of the Year by the Perry County School District. His previous experience includes serving as a teacher, principal, technology director and alternative school director.

Goodin is the president of Perry County Exchange Club, a trustee of Disciples Chapel Church and a member of Mississippi Association for Career and Technical Education. He and his wife, Jeanette, have five children and 11 grandchildren.
