ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Originally from Houston, Mississippi, Jon Lancaster is a product of public education, having graduated from Houston High School. He completed American Home Inspectors Training (AHIT) and has earned numerous professional certifications. He currently works for the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce as a weights and measures inspector.
Lancaster is involved in his community, serving as president of the Houston Touchdown Club,
chairman of deacons at Arbor Grove Baptist Church and a mason at Houston Lodge #67. He and his wife, Kelly, have a son, Jon Reed, a senior at Houston High School. He enjoys watching college sports, hunting, fishing and spending time with the people in his community.
